The Art Amardillo
Nature and Resin Art Workshops
Founded in 2019, The Art Amardillo vision is to create art pieces that evoke a greater appreciation for nature. Their ethos is that nature is one of the most beautiful examples of God’s wonderful creativity. While The Art Amardillo takes joy in their commissioned resin art and functional homeware, they believe that the joy of creating resin is something to be shared and there is even greater value for people to create art with their own hands. As such, they host fully-guided, unique resin workshops that have been thoughtfully curated to provide a novel and meaningful experience. The Art Amardillo offers coaster, floral and jewelry workshops, each focusing on different techniques. They are a strong supporter of sustainable art practices and aim to be an eco-friendly, small-batch artist. They also advocate for giving back to the local community, and has engaged with several local charities.
Hi my name is Amadis and I am the founder of The Art Amardillo.
Originally, I didn’t start my art journey as a business but as my own outlet to express and grow. I had the intention to refine my art whilst bringing attention to social issues as I went about learning how to be more sustainable in my practice and daily life. Along the way, friends and strangers approached me for custom art, and that’s how The Art Amardillo blossomed! I’m so thankful for the support. I believe that creativity is innate; it’s often just unperceived because there are too many ‘success indicators’ to identify a person as creative. However, I believe that the creative person is just someone who is open to the possibility of learning and exploring something new. I decided to make resin workshops the core of my business because I want everyone to realise that they are capable of being creative and making art – they just need a push to discover how delightful it can be. All in all, I hope that all my customers will walk away from a workshop with a sense of joy and accomplishment from their own original artworks.
