Hi! I’m Paula – founder and CEO (Chief of Everything!) at UBU Swimwear.
The idea for UBU started over a decade ago when I realised I wasn’t the only woman who felt uncomfortable wearing tiny bikinis and wanted something that provided enough support and coverage to run about enjoying life in – but could not find such swimwear anywhere! It was also around this time that I started to become a lot more conscious about how things are made and their environmental impact. I wanted to provide high-quality products that last. UBU isn’t just named YOU BE YOU by coincidence. My goal is to provide swimwear you can be comfortable enough in to enjoy yourself. To just be you. ‘Cos we all know when we feel good, we feel confident. That’s where amazing things can happen.
