Lucy is a culmination of all of the things that I have a passion for in this world.

In my birth country, I was gifted a good education. As an adult, I readily got the jobs and homes that I applied for. I received a bank account, the college education of my choice, and a business license with no drama. I worked wherever I loved to work and have been able to do what I loved to do. I married who I wanted to, and I had children when I was ready. I now have savings, a stable family, and the freedom and support to take further risks.

It is now my life’s work to make sure these opportunities are not unusual or reserved for a select few. A community is strongest when all that live in it are free to live their lives to the fullest. In particular, I am committed to working to help small business owners and sole breadwinners, working every day to better themselves, their families, and their communities.

Like me, Lucy is doing everything possible to provide opportunities for those who have been traditionally shut out of opportunities; female small business owners and FDWs. I have a passion for empowering these women and removing the barriers that have stood in their way. They are the most resilient part of our community, and with Lucy, they will be unstoppable.
